Gemenos is our village at the foot of Sainte Baume surrounded by the hills of Provence

Gémenos is a hidden gem, protected by the hills of lower Provence.

Did you know? Gémenos, or Gèmo in Provençal, refers to our village.

Between land and sea, this pretty village is home to La Magdeleine, a traditional bastide built in the 18th century.

To the north, Garlaban, the summit that gave its name, has a whole rocky massif that overlooks the city.
Marcel Pagnol, who used to be a regular client at La Magdeleine, wrote that Garlaban is like a tower that “rises very high in the sky of Provence”. " It's not a mountain, but it's no longer a hill: it's Garlaban. »

As Marcel Pagnol did, here we don't say the Garlaban!
Our massif is personified, it is an integral part of the landscape but not only, it is intimately linked to the culture of our village, its inhabitants and our property. Garlaban, a rich and calcareous land, always looking out to the Mediterranean Sea.

To the south, the Calanques National Park, a jewel of terrestrial and maritime nature that runs along the Mediterranean from Marseille to Cassis thanks to its 26 creeks.

To the east but already at the foot of Gémenos and our property, the Regional Natural Park of Sainte Baume, remarkable natural territory and pilgrimage in the footsteps of Sainte Marie-Madeleine.

Between Marseille, Aix-en-Provence and Cassis, the village of Gémenos and La Magdeleine together offer the promise of an environment of relaxation and a change of scenery
